Chris Moyseos: Morgan Stanley Advisor Receives $585K Complaint

Austin financial advisor Chris Moyseos (CRD# 5584290) recently received an investor complaint alleging more than $500,000 in damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is a broker and an investment advisor with Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Moyseos’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in June 2023, it alleges that as a representative of Morgan Stanley, he recommended unsuitable investments, including exchange-traded funds. The pending complaint alleges damages of $585,000.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Chris Moyseos holds 14 years of securities industry experience. Based in Austin, Texas, he has been a broker and an investment advisor with Morgan Stanley since 2011. His registration history includes Western Equity Group (Austin, Texas; 2009-2011) and Merrill Lynch (Austin, Texas; 2008-2009). His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Futures Managed Funds Examination, or Series 31; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66. He is licensed in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
