William Isaacson: $110K Complaint Against IFG Advisor

A recent investor complaint against Boynton Beach financial advisor William Isaacson (CRD# 2418034) alleges that he provided unsuitable advice that resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is a broker with Peak Brokerage Services and an investment advisor with Blackridge Asset Management, doing business as Isaacson Tax & Estate Advisors.

Mr. Isaacson’s BrokerCheck report discloses two investor complaints. The most recent, filed in September 2023, alleges that as a representative of Independent Financial Group, he recommended an unsuitable non-traded real estate investment trust (REIT). The pending complaint alleges damages of $110,000.

An earlier investor complaint, filed in 2021, similarly alleged that as an Independent Financial Group representative, he recommended unsuitable direct investments. In 2021 the complaint reached a settlement of $10,000. “Claim was settled to avoid protracted costs of arbitration process,” a comment on the disclosure states. “Settlement should not be deemed an admission of guilt or liability on the part of IFG and/or the representative.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, William Isaacson holds 28 years of securities industry experience. Based in Boynton Beach, Florida, he has been a broker a broker with Peak Brokerage Services and an investment advisor with Blackridge Asset Management since 2020,  doing business as Isaacson Tax & Estate Advisors. His past registrations include Independent Financial Group (Boynton Beach, Florida; 2013-2020), Newbridge Securities Corporation (Boynton Beach, Florida; 2007-2013), Prime Capital Services (Boynton Beach, Florida; 2004-2007), Quick & Reilly (Boca Raton, Florida; 2002-2004), Citicorp Investment Services (Long Island City, New York; 2000-2002), Investec Ernst & Company (New York, New York; 1999) Stuart Coleman & Company (New York, New York; 1997-1999), First Security Investments (Kingston, Pennsylvania; 1997), Nichols Safina & Lerner (New York, New York; 1994-1997), Smith Barney (New York, New York; 1994), and Chatfield Dean & Company (Greenwood Village, Colorado; 1993-1994).
