Brad Frisk: Legacy Wealth Advisor Lands Investor Complaint

Sacramento financial advisor Brad Frisk (CRD# 5957389) allegedly invested funds without authorization, according to a recent investor complaint. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is a broker and an investment advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, doing business as Legacy Wealth Management. He was previously a representative of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Mr. Frisk’s BrokerCheck report discloses two investor complaints. The most recent, filed in January 2024, alleges that as a Wells Fargo Advisors representative, he “invested funds without authorization and advised using a loan against securities,” leading to losses. The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages.

An earlier investor complaint, filed in 2020, alleged that as a Wells Fargo representative, he failed to disclose that the customer’s account “was subject to market risk.” The complaint alleged unspecified damages and was denied.

Legacy Wealth Management’s website includes a profile of Mr. Frisk that describes his approach to working as a financial advisor. “His client-service approach is based on a clear understanding of their unique needs, and he strives to integrate every client relationship with tailored, multigenerational planning,” it states. “From comprehensive financial planning to implementing sophisticated investment strategies, Bradley is renowned for his commitment to expertly managing and optimizing your wealth.”

Other current or former Wells Fargo advisors to receive investor complaints include Jeremy Strickler, Tom Avant, James Blaszyk, George Cairnes., and Frank Carter III.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Brad Frisk holds 10 years of securities industry experience. Based in Sacramento, California, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Raymond James Financial Services since June 2023, doing business as Legacy Wealth Management. His past registrations include Wells Fargo Clearing Services (Roseville, California; 2017-2023), JP Morgan Securities (Rocklin, California; 2015-2017), Morgan Stanley (Menlo Park, California; 2014-2015), and Chase Investment Services (2011-2012).
