Robert Snider: MassMutual Advisor Receives Churning Complaint

A recent investor complaint against Vienna, West Virginia financial advisor Robert Snider (CRD# 2417319) alleges that he churned investments. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with MML Investors Services, also known as MassMutual.

Mr. Snider’s BrokerCheck report discloses one recent investor complaint. Filed in June 2024, it alleges that as a representative of MML Investors Services, he churned the customer’s annuity investments and “at least with one of these annuities, appeared to be taking every fourth distribution.” The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages.

MassMutual’s website includes a profile of Mr. Snider in which he describes his professional background and approach to working with his clients. “My background, experience and commitment to providing you with the resources you need to make financial decisions, can help make your financial future as successful as you need it to be.,” he writes. “I pride myself in getting to know each client so that I can understand their individual needs and what matters most to them. According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Robert Snider holds 30 years of securities industry experience. Based in Vienna, West Virginia, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with MML Investors Services, also known as MassMutual, since 2017. His past registrations include MSI Financial Services and New England Securities. His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination, or Series 6; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63. He is licensed in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.
