Joe Zheng: JK Financial Advisor Faces $1.9 Million Complaint

Norco, California financial advisor Joe Zheng (CRD# 2318835) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his advice resulted in damages exceeding $1.9 million. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with JK Financial Services.

Mr. Zheng’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in August 2024, it alleges that as a representative of JK Financial Services, he recommended investments that were “in direct conflict” with the customer’s “investment direction and profile.” The pending complaint alleges damages of $1,935,000.

JK Financial Services’ website includes a page describing the firm’s mission “[t]o provide superior service and timely support to our Invest Representatives and Insurance Agents who deliver quality advice and service to our clients.” Elsewhere, the firm describes its products, including stocks, options, mutual funds, annuities, exchange-traded funds, and long-term care insurance. “JKFS provides retail investors brokerage services,” another page describes. “Brokerage services and investment advisory services are different from each other, and the fees are different. It is important for you to understand these differences.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Joe Zheng holds 31 years of securities industry experience. Based in Norco, California, he has been registered as a broker with JK Financial Services since 2000. His past registrations include Midwest Discount Brokers (New York, New York; 1996-2000), Daehan Securities (Los Angeles, California; 1994-1996), and Montano Securities Corporation (Orange, California; 1993-1994). His credentials include the passage of nine securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; the Registered Options Principal Examination, or Series 4; the Financial and Operations Principal Examination, or Series 27; the Municipal Fund Securities Principal Examination, or Series 51; the Compliance Officer Examination, or Series 14; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Operations Professional Examination, or Series 99TO; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63.
