Andy Huang: Glendale Securities Advisor Faces $580K Complaint

Brooklyn, New York financial advisor Andy Huang (CRD# 3268328) recently received an investor complaint that alleges conversion of funds and unjust enrichment. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Glendale Securities and that he has previously been sanctioned by FINRA.

Mr. Huang’s BrokerCheck discloses one investor complaint. Filed in September 2024, it alleges that as a representative of Glendale Securities, he breached his fiduciary duty, converted funds, committed fraud, misrepresented material facts regarding an investment, acted negligently, and engaged in unjust enrichment. The pending complaint alleges damages of $580,000.

A second disclosure on his BrokerCheck report concerns a FINRA disciplinary action against him. Filed in 2017, it describes findings that he “failed to detect and report suspicious activity, including anti-money laundering (AML) red flags, in connection with his member firm’s penny stock business.” In connection with these findings, he was suspended for ten business days and ordered to pay a fine of $5,000, as well as a monetary penalty of $2,000. Another sanction by securities regulators in Massachusetts, filed in 2021, placed him on heightened supervision in connection with FINRA’s findings in 2017.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Andy Huang holds 24 years of securities industry experience. Based in Brooklyn, New York, he has been registered as a broker with Glendale Securities since 2005. He was previously registered with Great Eastern Securities (New York, New York; 2002-2005), Global Access Financial Services (Lake Success, New York; 2001-2002), and White Pacific Securities (San Francisco, California; 2000-2001). His credentials include the passage of seven securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; the Registered Options Principal Examination, or Series 4; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Limited Representative-Equity Trader Exam, or Series 55; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Securities Trader Exam, or Series 57TO; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63. He is licensed in California, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas.
