Charlotte, North Carolina financial advisor George Terlizzi (CRD# 5834250) has received multiple investor complaints alleging that his conduct resulted in losses. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission records show that he is registered as an investment advisor with Arkadios Capital, doing business as SouthPark Capital.
Mr. Terlizzi’s BrokerCheck report discloses seven investor complaints. The most recent, filed in January 2025, alleges that he recommended an unsuitable interval fund. The pending complaint alleges damages of $65,000.
An earlier investor complaint, filed in 2022, alleged that as a Kalos Capital representative, he violated state and federal securities laws, breached contract, committed fraud, breached his fiduciary duty, and acted negligently. The complaint reached a settlement of $11,599.35.
A third investor complaint, filed in 2020, alleged that he recommended unsuitable investments and failed to conduct due diligence as a Kalos Capital representative. The complaint reached a settlement of $45,000.
A fourth investor complaint, filed in 2020, alleged that he recommended unsuitable investments in REITs and limited partnerships, failed to conduct office inspections, and misrepresented and omitted material facts. In 2021 the complaint reached a settlement of $75,737.
SouthPark Capital’s website includes a profile of Mr. Terlizzi that describes his background and experience as the firm’s founder. “George has worked in business for more than thirty years as an entrepreneur, consultant, dealmaker, and executive for early and mid-stage companies,” it explains. “George has worked to build new companies, grow existing businesses, form strategic relationships and most often puts energy to new ways of doing things.”
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities and Exchange Commission, George Terlizzi holds 12 years of securities industry experience. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he has been registered as an investment advisor with Arkadios Capital since 2022, doing business as SouthPark Capital. He was previously registered with Kalos Capital from 2012 until 2022. His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66.
