Scottsboro, Alabama financial advisor Becca Kilgore (CRD# 5721695) recently received an investor complaint alleging that she stole funds. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that she is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Edward Jones.
Ms. Kilgore’s BrokerCheck report discloses one recent investor complaint. Filed in March 2025, it alleges that as a representative of Edward Jones, she stole money from her client and ex-husband. The pending complaint alleges damages of $175,000.
The theft of clients funds is forbidden by FINRA rules and other securities industry standards. FINRA Rule 2150, for example, stipulates that FINRA-associated persons shall not “make improper use of a customer’s securities or funds.” FINRA Rule 2010, meanwhile, states that that brokers like Mr. Kilgore must “observe high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade” in the conduct of their business. Brokers who violate these rules may be found liable for damages and/or subject to disciplinary action by FINRA or author industry regulators.

Based in Scottsboro, Alabama, she has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Edward Jones since 2009. Her credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66.
