Brooklyn, New York financial advisor Andy Huang (CRD# 3268328) recently received an investor complaint that alleges conversion of funds and unjust enrichment. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Glendale Securities and that he has previously been sanctioned by FINRA.
Mr. Huang’s BrokerCheck discloses one investor complaint. Filed in September 2024, it alleges that as a representative of Glendale Securities, he breached his fiduciary duty, converted funds, committed fraud, misrepresented material facts regarding an investment, acted negligently, and engaged in unjust enrichment. The pending complaint alleges damages of $580,000.
A second disclosure on his BrokerCheck report concerns a FINRA disciplinary action against him. Filed in 2017, it describes findings that he “failed to detect and report suspicious activity, including anti-money laundering (AML) red flags, in connection with his member firm’s penny stock business.” In connection with these findings, he was suspended for ten business days and ordered to pay a fine of $5,000, as well as a monetary penalty of $2,000. Another sanction by securities regulators in Massachusetts, filed in 2021, placed him on heightened supervision in connection with FINRA’s findings in 2017.
