A recent investor complaint against Los Angeles financial advisor Beck Giyazov (CRD# 5511723) alleges that his advice resulted in damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Wells Fargo Clearing Services and Wells Fargo Advisors, respectively.
Mr. Giyazov’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in September 2024, it alleges that as a representative of Wells Fargo, he misrepresented and recommended unsuitable investments in miscellaneous products. The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages.
Investors should be aware that under FINRA Rule 2020, brokers like Mr. Giyazov may not “effect any transaction in, or induce the purchase or sale of, any security by means of any manipulative, deceptive or other fraudulent device or contrivance.” Representatives who offer misleading information in connection with their recommendations may be found to have violated Rule 2020. In cases where the investments suffer losses, these brokers may be liable for damages.
Wells Fargo’s website includes a profile of Mr. Giyazov that describes his strategies and services. “I can deliver a full range of investment planning strategies tailored to your unique needs,” it explains. “Whether you are investing for retirement, education expenses or some other goal, I will help you make informed decisions about your investment strategy.”
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Beck Giyazov holds 16 years of securities industry experience. Based in Los Angeles, California, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Wells Fargo Clearing Services and Wells Fargo Advisors, respectively, since 2011. He was previously registered with Wells Fargo Investments in Los Angeles from 2008 until 2011. His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66.
