The complaint alleged damages of $200,000 and was denied by the firm.

An earlier investor complaint, filed in 2018, alleged that as a representative of Ameriprise Financial Services, he provided misleading information regarding an insurance policy. The complaint alleged unspecified damages and was denied by the firm.

Ameriprise Financial Services’ website includes a page describing Munn & Associates, Mr. Munn’s private wealth advisory practice within the firm. “Your financial goals are unique, and we can help you achieve them,” reads a section describing his team’s approach to working with its clients. “With regular reviews of your goals, anytime access to your investments and digital tools to help you stay on track, we can help you feel more confident, connected and always in control of your financial life.”
