Concord, New Hampshire financial advisor Cynthia Magner (CRD# 2591698) allegedly recommended an unsuitable variable annuity investment, according to a recent investor complaint. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that she is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Ameriprise Financial Services.
Ms. Magner’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in June 2024, it alleges that as a representative of Ameriprise Financial Services, she recommended an unsuitable variable annuity. The pending complaint alleges damages of $100,000.

Her registration history includes IDS Life Insurance Company (Minneapolis, Minnesota; 2003-2006) and Scudder Investor Services (New York, New York; 1995-2001). Her credentials include the passage of five securities industry qualifying exams: the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination, or Series 6; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66.
