Derrick Brauner: $54K Bond Complaint Against Grand Glaize Advisor

Osage Beach, Missouri financial advisor Derrick Brauner (CRD# 6082847) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his conduct resulted in losses. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Moloney Securities, doing business as Grand Glaize Wealth Management.

Mr. Brauner’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in August 2024, it alleges that he recommended unsuitable corporate bond investments and acted negligently. The pending complaint alleges damages of $54,000.

Grand Glaize Wealth Management’s website includes a page describing the firm’s mission and approach. “Our mission is to open up the world of investment choices to you,” it explains. “We feel that by using more tools than just stocks or bonds, your investments can truly begin working for you. We will help you build an investment strategy tailored to accomplish your specific objectives and provide financial planning advice to help you grow, protect, and effectively distribute your assets.”

Elsewhere, that page includes a profile of Mr. Brauner that describes his background and experience. “He has built custom financial plans for Lake Area residents for almost 10 years now,” it explains. “Derrick loves to spend quality time with his beautiful wife, Christina, and devotes much of his time coaching and being an involved father with his three beautiful children.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Derrick Brauner holds 12 years of securities industry experience. Based in Osage Beach, Missouri, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Moloney Securities since 2017, doing business as Grand Glaize Wealth Management. He was previously registered with Smith Moore & Company in Osage Beach, Missouri from 2012 until 2017. His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66. He is licensed in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
