Jeff Wright: Churning Complaint Against Garden State Advisor

A recent investor complaint against Red Bank, New Jersey financial advisor Jeff Wright (CRD# 2538701) alleges that he made unauthorized trades. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Garden State Securities and an investment advisor with Garden State Investment Advisory Services.

Mr. Wright’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in September 2024, it alleges that as a representative of Garden State Securities, he churned investments and made unauthorized trades between May and August 2024. The pending complaint alleges damages of $36,000.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Jeff Wright holds 28 years of securities industry experiences. Based in Red Bank, New Jersey, he has been registered as a broker with Garden State Securities since 2010 and an investment advisor with Garden State Investment Advisory Services since 2012. His past registrations include Merrill Lynch (New York, New York and Westfield, New Jersey; 1998-2010), RD White & Company (New York, New York; 1997-1998), JW Charles Securities (Boca Raton, Florida; 1995-1996), and Gruntal & Company (New York, New York; 1995). His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; and the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65. He is licensed in Alabama, California, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia.
