Vincenzo Garganese: $139K Complaint Against Vis Wealth Advisor

Portland, Maine financial advisor Vincenzo Garganese (CRD# 6760844) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his advice resulted in damages exceeding $100,000. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with MassMutual, doing business as Vis Wealth Partners.

Mr. Garganese’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in August 2024, it alleges that as a representative of MassMutual, he unsuitably recommended aggressive stocks to a conservative investor. The pending complaint alleges damages of $130,000.

Vis Wealth Partners’ website includes a profile of Mr. Garganese in which he describes his background and experience. “I launched Vis Wealth Partners in 2016 motivated by the desire to help clients discover what’s important to them and match their needs with the right financial tools,” he writes. “From experience, I know how hard the journey to success can be, and how much it helps to have guidance along the way.”

MassMutual’s website also includes a profile of Mr. Garganese in which he describes his approach to working with his clients. “As a client-centric representative, I always strive to exceed clients’ needs,” he explains. “With exceptional focus, in-depth advice, and a commitment to holistic solutions, I give my clients and their families a lasting voice. I regularly pursue continuing education and new solution training to stay on the cutting edge of the industry.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Vincenzo Garganese holds seven years of securities industry experience. Based in Portland, Maine, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with MassMutual since 2017, doing business as Vis Wealth Partners. His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66. He is licensed in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia.
